KO was and will always be my station manager, albeit, a short period during my posting as asm DXB. A quiet, unassuming leader (who preferred to join in "the battle" with the troops, unlike some prone to leading from the rear). He was very meticulous in his work, often pondering, even agonizing, over each word in the many procedures he had to 'churn out' to 70 plus stations throughout the network as the Procedures 'go to' person in Ground Services. And no wonder, with the vast network, words and phrases can take on different meanings because of quirks in the interpretations of the English language compounded by cultural differences and any misunderstandings can result in severe consequences for the flight concerned.
KO - you are definitely missed.
